Directions to the Reclusive Moose Cabins

From Kalispell:

If you are arriving at Glacier International Airport, turn left onto US Hwy 2 upon exiting the airport. Take Hwy 2 until it intersects MT Hwy 40 (and dead ends at the Blue Moon Saloon) and turn right, continuing onto Hwy 2 into Columbia Falls. You will follow Hwy 2 all the way through Columbia Falls. Before departing Columbia Falls city limits, you will make a left hand turn onto Nucleus avenue. Your landmarks will be Coffee Traders on the right & Glacier Bank on your left. Follow Nucleus Avenue until it dead ends. At the dead-end you will take a right. This road is railroad street a.k.a. North fork road. Blankenship road will be 7 miles from this point on the right. Your landmark for Blankenship road will be the Blankenship Volunteer fire department. Our cabins are located about a mile down on Blankenship on the right hand side.

From West Glacier

You can access the cabin by taking Lake 5 road on the right hand side about 5 miles down on Hwy 2 from West Glacier. Past the KOA on the left. You will see a road called Belton Stage.  The road will T with Belton Stage road. You will take a left. Take Belton Stage road until you see a dirt road to the right marked Blankenship road. You will take Blankenship road until you cross the bridge. From the bridge the cabin will be located about 1.5 miles on the right.

The best place to stop for groceries en route is Super 1 Foods as you enter Columbia Falls on Hwy 2 (on the right at the first traffic signal)
